In line with the aim to provide inclusive education that caters to various ages, abilities, and capacities, Marymount Academy is a proud provider of TESDA Technical-Vocational courses.

The following are the programs currently being offered:

Contact Center Services NC II (Pure Online, 164 hours)

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of the students on core competencies such as communicating effectively using the English language, delivering quality customer service, performing computer operations and internet navigation, and demonstrating understanding and knowledge of American culture and geography in accordance with industry standards. It includes common competencies such as applying quality standards and performing computer operations. It also includes basic competencies such as participating in workplace communication, working in a team environment, practicing career professionalism, and following occupational health and safety procedures.

 

 

Events Management Services NC III (2 Days Onsite, 14 Days Online, with Onsite Assessment and 10 days OJT, 128 hours)

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of the students to coordinate events, functions and/or conferences which may be held in conference centers, hotels, motels, restaurants, clubs, resorts and luxury liners. It includes competencies on event planning such as planning and developing an event proposal, concept, and program, selecting a venue and site, and updating event industry knowledge, as well as competencies on on-site event management such as providing onsite management services, managing contractors and updating knowledge on protocol.

 

Bookkeeping NC III (Pure Online with Onsite Assessment and 10 days OJT, 309 hours)

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of the students to lead workplace communication, lead small teams, develop and practice negotiation skills, solve workplace problems related to work activities, use mathematical concepts, techniques, and relevant technologies, maintain an effective relationship with clients/customers, manage one's performance, apply quality standards, and perform computer operations. It includes core competencies such as journalizing transactions, posting transactions, preparing trial balances and financial reports, and reviewing the internal control system.

 

Housekeeping NC II (Onsite and Online, Onsite Assessment 455 hours)

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude in housekeeping. Specifically, it covers providing housekeeping services to guests, preparing rooms for guests, cleaning premises, providing valet service, and laundering linen and guest clothes.

  • Unemployed or Underemployed

  • At least 18 years old and above

  • With perseverance and consistency to learn

  • PSA/ Birth Certificate (if single) Marriage Certificate (if married)

  • Valid ID
