Marymount Academy remains true to its commitment to an integral education, nurturing the heart, mind, and body. Likewise, it strives to embrace diversity, and advocates for inclusivity.

Last March 21 and 31, 2022 respectively, the school's Executive Director, Mrs. Joy Myra S. Tambunting, contributed her knowledge and skills in two important events:

1. The Ceremonial Presentation of Republic Act 11650, also known as "An Act Instituting a Policy of Inclusion and Services for Learners with Disabilities in Support of Inclusive Education"

This new law supports the needs of learners with exceptionalities, ensures their social protection, and encourages their active participation in our national development. Mrs. Tambunting is a Principal Author of this law, and its presentation was attended by the Secretary of the Department of Education, Ms. Leonor Briones.

2. The Ateneo de Manila University's Talakayang Alay Sa Bayan (TALAB) 2022 Mrs. Tambunting gave a keynote presentation on the field of education and its journey towards embracing neurodiversity during Ateneo De Manila University's TALAB 2022. This was attended by university students, professors and staff. She was joined by a prominent figure of the sector, Engr. Emerito Rojas.

Genuine nation-building involves collaboration, capacity formation, and grit. In Marymount Academy, we keep the conversations going, distill useful ideas, and transform vision into action — for the development of education, our country, and consequently, our world.
